 For Medicinal Purpose

The wife and I go camping and

I am not to bring any booze.

Two bags I keep quite close at hand.

Vodka jugs in one, my wife views.

"I told you not to bring that stuff."

"Why is some booze now in my sight?"

The wife asks in a tone quite tough.

"For use in case of a snake bite,"

"As an anesthetic," I say.

This does seem to appease her some,

But subject not going away,

As the wife's next question does come,

"And what's in the other bag, dear?"

"Snakes, in case there aren't any here."
