Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Set the Mood
Two young folks park in Lover's Lane,
The first time for both him and her.
There'd been a steady pouring rain.
Both had hoped for moonlight for sure.
A nervousness shared 'twixt and 'tween,
Attempted small talk had run out.
Maybe some sign would intervene,
But both the teenagers had doubt.
Just as they were about to go,
The raining did stop suddenly.
The clouds did move, the moon did glow.
Their hoped for sign did come to be.
Around the moon the clouds did part
And formed a perfect, lovely heart.
