 Harbor Lighthouse

I watch the harbor and town that

Has been my home many a year.

I've watched my local habitat.

So many changes have come here.

Though sometimes, stormy waters be,

New science ways and means took form

To have responsibility

For warning all about each storm.

My day job now is to provide

The tourists with an attraction,

Guided tours in and outside,

I feel a contributing one.

And when the humans come at night,

This lighthouse always comes to light.
