 The Good Crawl

The lowest point in writing is

For me to get a writer's block.

It used to be frustrating biz,

Like a bad fall during a walk.

So I have learned what I need do

Is continue to move ahead.

Being a low point, I want to

Get back to the basics instead.

I try to think like a snail might,

Crawling along at a slow pace,

Content with progress, not just flight,

Knowing that time will give it place.

When writing poems, I do crawl.

It's much harder for me to fall.
