 Golden Idol

When God created planet Earth,

And placed on Earth the humankind,

Faith in God held the highest worth

In human heart and soul and mind.

But more the humans multiplied,

The more their faith in God was less.

Selfish pursuit became the guide,

And humans knew God did not bless.

But humans really do not care

As schemes of making money is

The rejoicing most humans share,

With lots of hate harvesting biz.

Spiritual joy cannot restore,

As long as money's worshipped more.
