Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Fluttered Flattered
This robin flying through the air
And spies a sculpture down below.
A green bush has been sculpted there
In the form of a bird to show
All of the bird in a dark green,
Except the front breast of the bird,
Which does shine in a lighter sheen.
A robin tribute has occurred.
Often I find humans be odd,
But once in a while do amaze
With their efforts that I applaud.
I stop to take a closer gaze.
Perched on this plant and I do jest,
"No real robin's got a green breast."
