 Glad You Showed Up

At a bar staring at my drink,

A bully type did gulp it down,

Then sneered at me, "What do you think!"

And did call me a bad word noun.

And so I said out loud my thought,

"A complete failure I do be."

"Got fired, bit by my dog I got,"

"And my cheating spouse did leave me."

"So I ordered a drink at this bar"

"And put in some pill poisoning,"

"Then, lo and behold, here you are,"

"And you just drank the whole damn thing."

"So watching you die does somehow"

"Make my woes superficial now."
