Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Wall Opening

I look around the world and note

That ev'rywhere there be a wall.

Sometimes there even be a moat.

So I'm not that dif'rent from all,

When around me a wall I've built

Not letting anybody in,

To maybe see my shame and guilt,

To maybe know I sometimes sin.

So desperate, I choose to pray

About my sin and guilt and shame,

To get hope for a better way.

And in my wall, a window came.

First window in my wall, then more,

When in my wall I make a door.
