 Choose Life's Embrace

As children, we begin to learn

The good and bad of humankind.

We sample each as each take turn

To strive to teach the human mind.

Sometimes the good does win the day.

Sometimes the bad does win the night.

And then as though a game both play,

The night's not wrong, the day's not right.

It is a game of chance, each birth

Whether to grow in love or hate,

Live empty or live filled with worth,

We each can choose good or bad fate.

Still be learning the human race

How to better all life's embrace.
