 Love of Hera

Hera of Greek mythology

On Mt. Olympus, goddess queen.

Her fav'rite was the apple tree,

And planted in the high cloud scene,

Her apple tree to grow on high,

To grace in blossom and in fruit,

For birds to visit in the sky,

And then take seeds in winged pursuit,

Enticing mere mortals below

To worship Hera high above,

As many apple trees would grow,

Reminding, Hera thrived on love.

Hera's apple tree blossoms brought

Mere mortal love of which she sought.
