Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Queer Space
Grandmother, Mother and now I
Work in a small shop open to
The public with select supply
Of thoughts to think and deeds to do.
Here be found ancient remedies
For now to have what the past had.
For customers we strive to please,
Whether seeking the good or bad.
Men in our lives come and go.
Someday I'll have a daughter that
Will learn from me all that I know,
To carry on this habitat.
Witches of pride in time and place,
Family biz in a queer space.
