A woman in the Bible named

Mary Magdalene came to be

Through the ages a woman famed,

Yet a woman of mystery

With Jesus she did travel to

Support him spreading the good word.

Jesus confided in her true.

Her company, Jesus preferred.

She witnessed Jesus crucified,

And saw him buried in the tomb,

Jesus reborn, she at his side.

Some say their child was in her womb.

Mary Magdalene was for sure

Loved by Jesus and he by her.
