Sense Sonnet - Steamer
Avenger
Diana, goddess of the hunt,
Came down from Mt. Olympus high,
Arrogant hunters to confront,
Who dared her warnings to deny.
Those hunters chose to poach her game
As wind did howl and rain did soak,
With bow in hand she did take aim,
Shooting arrows at those bad folk.
All did need hear and look when she
Judged guilty those against her will.
There'd be a pointed penalty.
All her game killers, she did kill.
The hunters' loved ones mourned their loss.
Diana was not one to cross.
