Burr Oak - Social Distancing - LPZoo

A lot of plants do grow, they do,
From old to young, from big to small,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
An arboretum to plants all.
The old big burr oak tree sure is
A good example of plant prime,
Two hundred years plus doing biz
In one place over lots of time.
This oak enjoys another spring.
Alas, no visitors are here,
Due to the social distancing.
Who knows when crowds will next appear.

Through the Covid phenomenon
The closed Zoo works and life goes on.
