The flamingos do strut, they do,
Feeling the spring that's in the air
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
Alas, no visitors are there
On scene to watch these big birds that
Do courtship dancing 'twixt and 'tween,
Around about their habitat.
But the flamingos can be seen
On social media which be
Uplifting in this time and place
For each and all humans to see
Amidst the crisis that we face.

Through the Covid phenomenon
The closed Zoo works and life goes on.
