A Seal of Disapproval - LP Zoo

This seal does see there's something new
The keepers have put on a rock
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
Out of the pool, I take a walk
To get a closer look at it.
On a bar there is hooked a ball.
I stretch up high and try to hit
The ball, but hard to rise so tall.
And back into the pool I go,
Thinking how weird humans can be.
Why some stuff they do, I don't know,
As long as they keep feeding me.

Maybe there is a keeper who'll
Throw the ball to me in the pool.
