A place where many horses die,
Because of the horse racing biz
Where must win rules seem to apply.
Limb injuries and other ills
Are happening too often with
The horses taking fatal spills,
Just accidents is just a myth.
In southern California heat
Santa Anita Park does be,
Horses kept busy on their feet
In excessive activity.

Why not race just humans instead
Who can choose overheat or dead!
