Dr. Fisher and Mr. Bell,
Leaders of the Lincoln Park Zoo,
For so many decades, do tell.
Thanks for what they did and they do.
Posing for a picture of past,
Along with an owl and raccoon,
Capturing a moment to last
Of the foursome one afternoon.
Standing by a new building site
To make a better living space,
So caring for animals might
Be for better in time and place.

The animals have come and gone.
Making a better Zoo goes on.
