Hungry for Herring - L P Zoo

An African penguin does do
A lot of fish eating each day,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
I like eating fish my own way.
The herring fish is my preferred,
And the keeper keeps this in mind,
And a big herring for this bird,
The biggest the keeper can find.
The keeper holds the herring out.
I give it a look over peek.
If it looks okay, then no doubt,
I grab the herring in my beak.

Once in beak, I achieve my goal,
As I swallow the herring whole.
