The arctic tern is the bird that
Migrates the furthest ev'ry year,
From north to south in habitat,
Follows summertime there to here.
The arctic tern each year does fly
About 24,000 miles.
When the arctic tern is asked why,
This most frequent flyer just smiles.
To follow food most likely is
The main reason for such long flight.
Summer is where there's most food biz,
And thus the frequent flying rite.

Wherever on Earth summer be,
The arctic tern is attendee.
