So the penguins take a short trip
At home in the Lincoln Park Zoo,
Leaving their love nest to check out
A bit of splish and splash of fun,
Moving over the quickest route,
They waddle but they do not run.
At the water's edge they do pause.
Should they dive in or should they not?
Oh, what the heck, dive in , because
Penguins do love water a lot.

Nothing like a refreshing swim
To refresh penguins her and him.
