Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Frederick the Great
Prussian King Frederick the Great
Spent decades and money and built
A big army in a small state,
And warred with neighbors with no guilt.
Effeminate, he held high court
Made up of young and handsome guys,
Banished the ladies of all sort,
Even the the Queen he did despise.
But those he loved the most of all
Were many dogs both he and she,
All buried neath the palace wall,
Where Frederick did wish to be.
Buried elsewhere, centuries passed,
The King joined with his dogs at last.
