Began her career under threat
Of guillotine, but release came,
Thanks to dead Marie Antoinette,
Who had been Madame's boss until
She lost her head to guillotine.
Madame used the head to fulfill
A wax remake of the once Queen.
Thus launched was Madame's new career.
And quickly she did get ahead,
Making the wax figures appear,
Bringing new life to famous dead.

The job - she did not get the ax.
Madame - wonder woman of wax.
