Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Snowballing - LP Zoo

Tiz the season outside for snow,
And so sometimes the keepers do
Bring in a bunch for us, and so
Snowball play at Lincoln Park Zoo.
Into the chilly, sticky white
I grab a handful of stuff wet,
And pack it into a ball tight,
Pull back my arm and I am set.
I see my target and take aim,
Determined this gorilla girl
To be the winner of the game,
And at my target I do hurl.

The first snowball I threw missed her -
Next one's gonna smack my sister.
