Emperor Newt Cute - LP Zoo

An emperor newt I do be.
My empire is Lincoln Park Zoo.
I come from China ancestry,
Old amphibian to newt new.
A non reptile in Reptile House,
But humans give me super care,
And oft I get a thawed out mouse.
So humans rock I do declare.
Couple of inches - head to tail.
Orange is the color of my bod.
I can squirt toxins from my scale
To discourage those on the prod.

I am a cute newt and it shows,
Cuz this emperor wears no clothes.
