The Longest Claw

Giant armadillo am I,
And what I like the best to eat,
I am the first to clarify,
Termites are my favorite treat,
For which I have most mammal teeth,
And longest claws to do the job,
Digging the buggers underneath,
And chew the buggers by the gob.
Up to eight inches my claws grow,
Up to a quarter length my bod.
So I dig digging  - doncha know!
Human clipped fingernails seem odd..

On a mission I am claw bound,
Happy meal in the termite mound.
