Pushing this soap opera spree.
Tiz the profit incentive that
Makes the media go for such,
Cuz that's where the ratings are at.
Trump is the latest Midas touch.
Media-ocrity now is
What keeps the public yearning more.
Mainstream now is just tabloid biz,
Not to inform, but not to bore.

The media plays this cheap game.
We the People are who's to blame.
