Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Corpse Flower

I am called the corpse flower, cuz
I bloom and smell like rotting flesh,
Attracting lots of bugs such does.
Bugs spread my pollen o'er buds fresh.
Indonesia is where I'm from,
But now I'm planted in Berkeley.
Ev'ry few years my bloom does come,
And humans flock to me to see.,
Excited cuz I'm so unique.
A phallic symbol five feet high.
For humans, my odor does reek,
But I'm happy some bugs come by.

The humans do call me Trudy,
And also call me P-U-dy.
