Tiz a day I be wearing green,
As I wear ev'ry day, I do.
For green snakes - no color change 'tween.
At Lincoln Park Zoo, I hang out
To remind the visitors that
Green snakes like to slither about
Illinois prairie habitat.
So c'mon over and say hi.
Look close cuz I am a wee folk.
I can't wave back, no hands are why.
