Sense Sonnet - Pumper

My Kind of Town

The Chicago night life - I love
All the smells, the lights and the sounds,
On all sides, below and above.
The Loop keeps looping on its rounds,
Always busy 'long Lake Shore Drive,
Lincoln Park Zoo to Navy Pier,
Sports stadiums coming alive,
The skyline glow in the Bean mirror.
I have my shadowed means and ways.
Passersby don't notice I am
Hunting by nights, sleeping by days.
I have been fitted with a cam.

Chicago born and bred I be,
Home to a coyote like me.
