Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Tree Table for Two

A gorilla and a squirrel do
Meet under a shady oak tree.
They have reserved a spot for two,
Keeping each other company.
The gorilla chews oak leaves fine,
While acorns are the squirrel's delight.
Both find this a great place to dine.
They tell what's up while down each bite.
Who would have guessed that this odd pair
Would choose to come together so.
At anytime and anywhere,
Nature is sharing - doncha know!

The twosome talk and laugh a bunch.
They always do when doing lunch.
