We the People have let the vets
For decades be maltreated by
A system that just ignores debts
To servers who suffer and die.
Politicians and bureaucrats,
In typical self serving ways,
Do loads of hot air speech formats
To stall - that's how the system plays,
Knowing in time, the public will,
As with all issues, just go numb.
The system counts on this until
Forever - cuz the public's dumb.
