Fine Arts Frogs

The Kumbara night frogs do meet,
And stand on their hind legs to touch
The site where they wish to complete
Mr. and Mrs. such and such.
And lay their eggs over a stream
On a hanging rock or plant twig.
Then do a handstand as a team,
Dancing the fertilizing gig.
Then each go back and forth and pack
The egges in mud, like pottery.
In the appropriate time track,
The mud cracks ope and tadpoles be.

Mr. and Mrs. Frog impart
