Sense Sonnet - Acher

Kathleen Sebelius

Kathleen Sebelius, your life
Has mostly lived in politics.
You must have guessed you'd have great strife,
Stirred in the Obamacare mix.
As H.H.S. Secretary,
Righties charged you could do no right,
Lefties left you the scapegoat be,
Stuck in a tunnel without light,
Bounced about like a ping pong ball,
A tenure drowned in waves of blame.
You held your head high through it all.
With lots of class you played the game.

Kathleen Sebelius, be well.
Let your burns heal from D.C. hell.
