Volunteer Sherry with some worms
At Lincoln Park Farm in the Zoo,
Teaching kids in down to earth terms,
The vital stuff that worms do do -
Eat plants in, digest and out poop,
Fertilizing the soil to grow
More healthy plants - tiz a life loop.
Worms - human helpers - doncha know!
Handy to have in house and yard,
Old fruits and veggies - worms love most.
Kids do learn that it's not too hard,
And persuade parents to compost.

Sherry is a retired school marm,
But still teaching kids at the farm.
