A green broadbill bird, I am due
To celebrate St. Patrick's Day,
In my nest at Lincoln Park Zoo,
And do it in the Irish way.
Corned beef and cabbage - hold the beef.
Irish coffee that's coffee free.
Yes, the traditional three leaf,
A shamrock on my tail to see.
No bigger than a leprechaun,
As a wee feathered one, I wish
The best of luck on all upon,
Cuz on this day we're all Irish.

When Irish eyes are smiling wide,
I'll be singing St Pattie's pride.
