Sense Sonnet - Pumper

American Eel

The Sargasso Sea, 'twixt and 'tween
North America and Europe,
Part of Atlantic Ocean scene.
There I was born, the choice came up,
Do I go East or go I West?
I headed West and found a home,
The U.S.A. somewhere I guessed.
Through the big city I did roam.
But came the time Mom Nature called,
Back to the birthplace, part of the deal.
So I packed up and off I hauled,
Proud as an American eel.

Back to roots in Sargasso Sea,
Brooklyn's been a fun place to be.
