The first Thanksgiving, it is said
The Pilgrims had harvest subdued.
Native Americans brought food,
Giving people who had not yet
Come up with stuff like shop and buy.
If so, it's prob'ly a good bet
The Pilgrims would have not been shy
About going to wig wam mall
To buy on credit latest tech
Like drums to beat to make the call -
Reduced price now - oh what the heck!

Once started it will never stop.
Thanksgiving is a day to shop.
