Time to take a little time out
To ponder over all the stuff
That life of a chimp is about.
Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's tough.
But I can't go completely ape
When things aren't going all my way.
Can't go bananas to escape,
When having an Ape-ril Fools day.
I must keep a good ape-titude,
Always look for the choc'late chimps
In the cookies handed this dude.
An ape cot rest time keeps it simp.
