Bo and the Merkel Flap

The Prez got off the phone and said,
"Bo, those Germans sure have no sense"
"Of humor, but get mad instead,"
"That eavedropping's a consequence"
"Of being a U.S. ally."
"The Chancellor thinks her cell phone"
"Is not fair game for us to pry."
"Of course I told her, in feigned tone -"
"U.S. - a bugger - of course not."
"She did not buy it." the Prez shrugged.
Out to the Rose Garden I shot,
To check if my cell phone was bugged.

The Prez said Chancellor Merkel
