The powers that be worked on why,
Pressed for prosperity again.
Today, politician elite
Have media elite to spin
The joblessness as trick or treat
To assure powers that be win.
The jobless have no soundbyte voice
To sell the ads on newsy shows.
The welfare state - that is the choice
That's now the way the future goes.

No jobs - broken, not breaking news.
