Pi

Pi is three point one four...ever,
The most famous number of all.
Its own day, March fourteenth - clever!
Archimedes made the math call -
The ratio of circumference
To a circle's diameter -
Called it pi - guess it then made sense,
But Greek to me, for sure, for sure!
Taken trillions of digits out,
Supercomputers seek the why
Of such constant unconstant doubt
Of ever irrational pi.

A poem for pi - a pi-em,
Tiz for no reason nor rhy-em.
