Lake Michi - gone

Lake Michigan and the Great Lakes
Have ups and downs since glacier day.
But thanks to human made mistakes,
Lake Michigan will go away.
Fresh water will soon become rare.
Those with the power will seek to
Use up the Great Lakes and not care
What holes are left when they are through.
Water drained by technology,
Then across the world will be sold.
By human nature, this will be.
Fresh water will be the new gold.

The famous Chicago lake shore
Will soon touch a Great Lake no more.
