The politicians fled D.C.,
While We the People on cliff hang,
'Bout to fall over fiscally.
Politicians don't give a dang.
Lefties just blame the righties, and
Righties just blame the lefties back.
Finger pointing with lip grandstand,
From both sides of the party pack.
Tiz the season to play the game
Of blind side bluff about the cliff.
The politicians have no shame,
Fleeing from D.C. in a jiff.
