How Now Pow Wow

"Power how?" ask powers that be
Jetting to Aspen just to ask,
How to get all that energy
To take competitors to task.
Solar is shining more and more,
But fossil fuelers love the line,
Cheap oil and gas and coal galore,
Shove solar where the sun don't shine.
Nuclear fusion don't talk much,
A lot of it has gone to waste.
And wind is blowing out of touch,
All those dead birds leave a bad taste.

"Let's return to nature," said some.
All in all - might not be so dumb.
