Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Parenttached

My son - extension of my life.
An attachment parent I be.
I did not like being a wife,
But sticking by son - that is me.
A growing boy needs lots of love,
And lots of cash to make ends meet.
Money is not what I'm made of -
Wish cash could be milked from the teat.
So I had to go into debt
To help my son along the way.
He has not found his way quite yet -
Still lives at home, but that's okay.

I just can't disattach my son -
My baby boomer - 61.
