Obama Evolves

Go gay marriage, I have evolved,
So President Obama said.
Of course the issue's less than solved,
But loads more talk of it ahead,
Yes, it's important to a lot
Of folks who want this way or that.
But of all the troubles we've got,
Gay marriage - not life or death chat!
But now till the election day,
Gay marriage will be right up there,
Batted back and forth ev'ry way,
Though most of us don't really care.

Evolving issue and we're stuck.
