Dictator Poetic

North Korea's first family
Are dictators who like to write
Their feeling down in poetry,
Some deep thoughts penned of their birthright.
Kim-Il-sun, grandpappy despot
Noted his son a shining star.
His son, Jong-il, did verse a lot
In multi operas - bizarre!
Grandson, Jong-chul, too a poet,
But deemed to be too girlysome.
Succeeding pops - that did blow it,
In the macho dictatordom.

So son, Kim Jong-un was the pick.
Perhaps he'll share a limerick.
