No Place for Civility

Presidential campaigns bring out
The hidden worst in humaness.
When all is said and done, no doubt,
The truth is anybody's guess.
All of the presidents of past
Would have more trouble getting in
With media so fired and fast
To give the truth sensation spin.
Civility in politics -
Kind of like a snowball in hell,
Not at all a long lasting mix,
And the snowball never does well.

Beings of civility do
Exist. Go see them in the zoo.
