Sense Sonnet - Acher

Money Math

Once upon a time, a hundred
Folks were selected for a test.
One was a rich selfmade biz head.
Ninety nine were poor laziest.
Assets of all hundred were pooled,
Then divvied up in equal shares
To note what economics ruled
In free market human affairs.
After a year the hundred were
Checked out to see how each had done.
Ninety nine losses did occur,
And there was only one rich one.

The ninety nine poor were poor more.
The rich one amassed wealth galore.
